A little bit about me…

Hi! I’m Marisa. Thanks for being here!

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my family and our gaggle of geriatric pets. I’m a communications professional, artist, art lover, and recovering journalist.

I graduated from Western Washington University (twice!), where I studied art history, journalism, and education. I’ve written for multiple newspapers, including a stint at The Seattle Times, and have worked in marketing and communications for the last 15 years.

On the weekends, I can be found reading, writing, exploring the outdoors, browsing book stores, and dragging my family to museums.
