A little bit about me…

Hi! I’m Marisa. Thanks for being here!

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my family and our gaggle of geriatric pets. I’m a writer, artist, art lover, and recovering journalist.

I graduated from Western Washington University (twice!), where I studied art history, journalism, and education. I’ve written for several magazines and newspapers, including a stint at The Seattle Times. For the last 15 years, I’ve worked in marketing and communications.

On the weekends, I can be found reading, writing, eating pasta, exploring the outdoors, browsing bookstores, and dragging my family to museums and community events.
